The Only Fools Bar is the UK’s unique Only Fools And Horses themed bar right in the heart of Liverpool, and fans of the iconic sitcom can have a blinding, immersive on set experience while having one of Del Boy’s famous cocktails!
Mon Dieu! Ever felt the need to head down to the Nag’s Head for a Chateau Nerf De Pap or a cheeky Baileys and cherryade? Well now you can with Liverpool’s Only Fools And Horses theme bar, and fans of one of the greatest British sitcoms of all time can relive their favourite scenes while having an epic night out!
The Only Fools Bar is heavy on nostalgia and takes full advantage of the sheer love people have for Only Fools And Horses, and it is not hard to see why. You can see the smiles just beaming from everyone’s faces as they enter and catch a glimpse of the famous three wheeler and Del’s living room. The sheer joy is palpable, and that is what I love about it, this is what elevates it beyond just another theme bar and to the full blown status of an epic attraction in its own right. It just makes people happy, and that is not something that you can fake as easily as one of Del’s dodgy deals! From the second they walk through the door and see that famous three wheeler it gives people that same enthusiastic sentimentality that the TV show itself does.
We all grew up with Only Fools and Horses, we all loved it, and now the Only Fools Bar is bringing back all those fond memories in a genuinely happy place that just fills you with joy and nostalgia!
More Than A Bar.
The Only Fools Bar is more than just a drinks venue, it is a Liverpool attraction in and of itself. Starting with the impressive street art mural by local artist Paul Curtis that emblazons the side of the building (you really cannot miss it), and not to mention the Instagram worthy art through the rest of the building too, one of the main draws as an attraction here is the selfie worthy props and sets!

Have you ever imagined yourself sitting in that famous living room in Nelson Mandela House? How about propping up the bar at the Nags Head or sitting in that iconic three wheel van? Well now you can, and this is exactly what makes the Only Fools Bar special!
You see this isn’t just your average run of the mill theme bar, this is a love poem to the series itself, a genuine fan driven homage to those lovable cockney rogues, and the huge open space actually has reproductions of the famous sets recreated throughout the venue!

Apart from the iconic three wheel van and living room, which genuinely has to be seen to be believed, Del and Raquel’s bedroom is also set up in all its gaudy tiger print glory and you can’t not take a selfie on Del’s bed! Lovely Jubbly! I couldn’t find a book on being a modern man though!

Of course the pièce de résistance, the crème de la menthe of the sets is the recreation of that iconic bar scene, one of the single best comic moments on British TV where Del falls through the bar!
Bonnet de douch Rodney! There is actually a bar set up just for you to fall through, with a confused Trigger painted right next to it and of course a crash mat to land on! With this much thought, care and attention to detail, how can this not make even the most casual fan of Del, Rodney and Uncle Albert happy?
Live Music.

But going beyond the amazing sets, the nostalgia and Del’s famous cocktails, the Only Fools Bar has made a serious name for itself as one of Liverpool’s newest, and quirkiest, live music venues, and at weekends the bar get packed with people wanting to see the latest live bands playing.
But don’t worry, the Only Fools and Horses nostalgia can only take a back seat for so long, with a huge mural of Tony Angelino painted behind the stage ready for the open mic night where you can perform your very own rendition of ‘Cwying!’ Minus Raquel, of course!
Themed Cocktails.

But it just wouldn’t be an Only Fools theme bar without one or two of Del’s famous cocktails now would it? And the Only Fools Bar easily holds its own among some of Liverpool’s best and swankiest cocktail bars with a drinks menu extravaganza based on the TV show itself! None of that Chateau Nerf De Pap nonsense in here my son! Oh no!
With cocktails like ‘Don’t Call Me Dave’ and ‘Uncle Alberts Disco Nap’, why would you stick to an ordinary beer? Unless of course you are wanting to try out their very own brand of Gin! The only thing they are missing is a Peckham Spring Water!
Of course for me personally, I don’t think you can walk up to the Nag’s Head Bar and not order a Del Boy special, a Pina Colada complete with umbrellas, cherries and even a sparkler! Bring it on my son!

The Only Fools Bar on Seel Street in Liverpool is more than just a simple cocktail bar, it is more than an attraction for Instagram selfie hunters everywhere, it is genuinely one of those places that exudes fun and happiness and this is exactly why Liverpool is a perfect home for it!
So whether you fancy a quick half down the Nag’s Head with Rodney’s bunch of Wallies, you want to be a part of those iconic sets or simply listen to some live music a little bit better than Tony Angelino could manage, don’t be a plonker and get down to the Only Fools Bar!

I did! Watch to the end.😂 https://vm.tiktok.com/ZSurnvWd/
But why is this in Liverpool? Surely it should be in London?
Because Denzil was Scouse and he nicked all the sets in his lorry when the show finished! 😉
OMG that is amazing! I love theme bars but have never seen one as well done as this! Is this actually in Liverpool or out in the outskirts somewhere? (Sorry not very familiar with it being from Manchester!)
Obligatory Boooooo for the Manc! 😂 But yes it is! It’s right in the centre just a few minutes walk from central!
Well if it detracts the locals from from banging on about the Beatles, Hillsborough & their imaginary wit – I’m all for a theme bar celebrating a London based TV sitcom from the 1980’s.
Aw don’t worry Louise, I am sure wherever you live will get some good things too someday. Until then you are more than welcome to come to Liverpool and see the Beatles Museum and the Beatles Story, and there are tons of Beatles tours, and don’t forget the LFC tour of Anfield too, it’s really illuminating. And after all that you can come and have one of Del’s awesome cocktails! I promise the locals will be friendly.
Bwahaha!
I really need to visit here after covid!
You are more than welcome now! There may be a curfew but everywhere is still open and everywhere is still very safe!
Need to come down and check this out for myself! Worth a trip to Liverpool by the looks of it.
It definitely is!
Amazing! Is that really a genuine three wheeler in the bar? Need to come here and see for myself!
It’s a prop, not a real car, but you can’t tell right? At least it is authentic in that it is impossible to get in and out of if you are over 4 foot! 😂 And you definitely should!
Do they have Peckham Spring Water? Haha
I’m sure they’ll find you a glass of it if you ask nicely! 😂
Baileys and cherryade Michaew!
Reason to come back to Liverpool right here! What a great idea for a theme pub!
It really is!
Brilliant! This is such a good idea.
It really is!
How can I live near Liverpool and not even know this exists?!! Definitely our next night out!
So many locals don’t realise it is here Eamon, just goes to show why it is worth exploring your own city as a tourist once in a while! ;D
Massive only fools fan! Have to come here. Where abouts is it exactly?
It’s on Seel Street right in the city centre. Just a few minutes walk from Central Train station. If you find the Premier Inn it’s just a little further up that street.
I had no idea this was here! That’s next weekend sorted, thanks!
You are very welcome Peter, enjoy!
Brilliant concept, best British TV show ever made! I’m surprised it hasn’t been done before. P
To be fair I am too know that I think about it!
I just saw your Tik Tok on this too! Classic bar fall and the end! Hahaha! Love it!
Ha, thank you!
Is this brand new? I had no clue this was here!
It opened late last year I think Louisa, unfortunately it has had to deal with everything this year but is really popular already!
Those sets are just brilliant, are they just to look at? Like on a stage? Or can you go on them? Sorry sounds like a stupid question.
Not at all Caroline, it is hard to tell from a picture but no they aren’t just for show you can get your drinks and sit on Del’s bed or in his living room and take as many selfies as you like! ;D
One way ticket to Liverpool right now! This is brilliant!
It really is worth the trip!
Looks like an absolute state of a bar based on a crap sitcom from 40 years ago.
You can’t judge the bar on your poor taste in TV!
Haw! Haw! Love it!
Me too!
This is our next date night! My bf loves only fools! Thanks for reccomending it.
You are very welcome! Enjoy!
I hope I get a chance to visit here soon, and hope this latest lockdown nonsense doesn’t finish it off before I get a chance to.
Me too.
Gutted everywhere is closed down again now. Lockdowns are a joke!
I know what you mean Paul, they really are and are causing untold damage to local businesses like this,
So sad this won’t be open during my visit! Bloody lockdowns!
I totally feel you Joanne. Hopefully they won’t be closed for too long.
Agreed. Such an absolute disgrace. Bars are causing no cases to rise at all!
Aren’t all bars closed down in scouseland now? How are you promoting this?
They weren’t at the time of my visit Gareth but unfortunately yes, now they are under an extremely unfair and unjustified lockdown, but they will open again and when they do Liverpool is going to have one hell of a party!
Amazing idea for a night out! Time for some 80s fancy dress!
