There is always the temptation on any gap year or backpacking trip to try and fit as much in as humanly possible, but that isn’t always the best thing to do. Here’s why you should slow down, take your time and really soak in the culture, the atmosphere and the experience of the places you are visiting.

Well said. I always try and minimise the jumping round when Im travelling, I kind of seeing it as settling down in one place for a week or two to get a good feel for it, then I decide to stay or move on.
