Should You Pre Book Acommodation On Your Gap Year?

With so many booking sites and aggregates around now, travelling is easier than ever! But is it really necessary to pre book all your accommodation in advance? Has the spirit of adventure been lost in backpacking because of this? And with all the recent controversies surrounding the ethics of booking sites, should you use them?

    I do see your point but it is just so convenient to just go on booking com or hostel world and book things before you arrive. It is just easier. I have to admit it is a lot less clear cut after hearing about some of the shady practices they employ recently though.
