When you are planning your round the world trip, reading up on other’s experiences is often one of the best parts. It obviously helps with the planning process, but it can also be a great source of inspiration and excitement too. Like throwing an extra couple of logs onto a slowly building fire, good reviews can help build and grow an itinerary, giving ideas that may never have been imagined or providing useful information on where or what to avoid.
This new review section is here to do just that. Broken up into easy sections to help you even further, reviews of various accommodation I have stayed in, airlines I have flown with, equipment I have personally found useful on the road and many more things yet to come, will hopefully help inspire you to get out there and travel but also help you to plan your trip.
Here are some of the highlights – and lowlights – of the places I have stayed during my travels. From basic hostels to boutique guesthouses, flashpacker luxury hotels to unique one of a kind locations. Click here to head to the accommodation review section.
This is a selection of the gear and equipment I have personally used on my travels, some are indispensable, others not so much. Click here for the gear and equipment review section.
Many reviews in this section are of experiences paid for solely by the author as a result of personal travelling or of equipment personally used by the author which it is felt would be of benefit to readers of the site. The views and opinions expressed are the authors own, and are honest and factual without any bias.
No incentives are ever accepted in return for positive coverage, and in the instances where assistance has been given by travel industry professionals and services, full editorial integrity is maintained and all reviews will remain honest and forthright. If a service or product has been provided in the name of research, then a full disclosure of that fact will appear at the bottom of the individual review.
