Win A Numinous Anti Theft Backpack!

Numinous Pack review

This competition is now closed. Congratulations to Sophie Alexander from Staffordshire! A brand new pack will be winging its way to you soon. Thank you to everyone who entered!

I know technically we are in a new month now but I couldn’t let the second anniversary month of Bemused Backpacker close with just one competition, so here is your chance to win an awesome 65 litre Numinous anti theft backpack worth almost £200!

The Numinous range of anti theft backpacks are an evolution in design, bringing together the best design elements of different types of backpacks and adding a whole arsenal of seriously beefed up and integrated security features. Available for the security conscious gap year traveller, adventure traveller or backpacker with the aim of reducing the risk of theft on your travels, they have a bunch of impressive security features including:

  • Anti slash Kevlar material.
  • Anti puncture zip technology.
  • Integrated retractable steel cable.
  • Integrated TSA approved luggage locks.

And a load more features besides! Read the full review here.

Whether you are planning your first gap year or are an experienced traveller in need of a new pack, you know you want one of these!

How To Enter.

Entering could not be simpler.

Simply enter your email and subscribe to Bemused Backpacker in the sidebar box to your right and leave a comment in the section below saying what security feature you think would be the most useful and why.

Signing up for email alerts is ESSENTIAL to win as this will be the email I contact you on.

But wait! Want more chances to enter? Once you have signed up to email alerts, follow me on Facebook here or Twitter here and simply add which SM you are following me on in your message.

If you just sign up for email alerts, that’s one chance to win. If you do all three, you have three chances!

That’s it! Simple, right? Up to three chances to enter and a question with no wrong answer. What more could you ask for?

(If you are already signed up or following me, then thank you! And all you have to do is mention that and answer the question.)

The competition will run until midnight on Wednesday 27th May and the lucky winners will be picked out completely at random and notified by Tuesday 2nd June 2015.

My decision is final and I reserve the right to change the competition at any time. No cash alternatives can be offered.

Don’t forget the email sign up box is on the sidebar to the right, and you have to leave a comment AND sign up to be eligible to enter.

Anti slash material or hidden zips are great.

  2. Andrea A says:

Anti slash Kevlar material because it would prevent a thief with a knife from stealing items especially in areas where people stand in close proximity.

Anti slash Kevlar material. following on twitter and fb

  5. Jayne says:

I think that an anti-slash material for a backpack is incredibly necessary. Even with my bag and zippers locked, I wouldn’t feel safe knowing that a pair of scissors in a large crowd could be my bag’s demise. So, the Kevlar material makes me feel so much more protected. Bullet-proof and anti-theft material any day. 🙂

    • Jayne says:

  18. Simon Tinsley says:

I’m a futurist. In the future backpacks will come with a wonderful security feature: “Mighty Fist of Tyson”. If the backpack is not handled by one of the pre-approved handlers then out of it pops a hard-hologram of Mike Tyson’s fist to bop would be thief on the nose.

  19. Katie Dawes says:

I think Simon’s comment above wins this…! But the integrated retractable steel cable does it for me… that way I can lock it to my hostel bed so no one can steal my bottom bunk… or my backpack 😉 Following on FB and Twitter!

  20. Nick M says:

Anti slash will protect my stash and protection for the zipper will keep out those pesky critters !

Anti-slash material would be most useful, had things stolen out of a bag previous via knife slashing

  31. Hazel Christopher says:

I think the Anti slash Kevlar material would be the best security feature for me. I think even looking at the bag you can see it’s tough material and that alone would act as a deterrent (hopefully), especially when you see plenty of flimsy bags around.

  44. Poor backpacker wants to see the world! says:

I think thr anti-slash material would be most helpful… My backpack is on its last leg (I’ve sewn various sections back together while on the road) & I think this would add to it being a well built bag! I’d absolutely LOVE to sport this bag this summer… I’m planning on backpacking south east Asia & would love to have a reliable bag while I do it, I’m saving all of my $$$ for thr trip so I don’t have the $$$ to drop on a new bag 😦

  45. Nurses Mom needs your consideration! Please:) says:

Oh how a mother worries when one of my ducklings ventures from the nest to see the world…often by herself. Your antitheft with retractable cord which is made of industrial kevalr travel backpack would give this tried mom a bit more sleep! I would appreciate your kind consideration in this matter and promise some wonder pics of her sporting and promoting your high tech bag as she travels.

  46. Stephen Coy says:
