Well, this is it! That special time of year again, and this is the final post of what has been a truly epic year for me! So I wanted to take a little time out from my normal website routine just to wish every single one of you a happy Christmas!
Much more than just wishing you all seasonal greetings though, I wanted to take the time to say a huge and very personal thank you to each and every one of you out there who has supported me throughout the year by visiting my site, reading my work, buying my books and supporting me on Facebook and Twitter.
There is much more to come yet!
I launched the Bemused Backpacker website back in April and published the first in the series of the Bemused Backpacker travel books shortly after, and the response and the support I have received so far has just been beyond all my expectations. Seriously it has been better than I ever could have imagined, and I want to take a moment to tell you it really does mean a lot. So seriously, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
Don’t worry though, this is only just the beginning! I have some pretty epic travel plans coming up starting with my return to Singapore in February, and I also have a lot of huge plans for Bemused Backpacker in the coming year that I hope you will all like and find useful on your own gap years and backpacking adventures.
So if you like what you have seen so far, stay tuned! There is much more to come yet.
After all, this is what the website is here for, for you, the readers. Without all of you I wouldn’t be doing all of this, so I would absolutely love to hear from you. Let me know what you think of the site and/or the books, let me know what you like and what you don’t like, what you want to see more – or less – of, anything you like. Please feel free to leave a comment below or drop me a line through the contacts page. I’d love to hear from you.
So once again, thank you to each and every one of you, and wherever in the world you are this festive season I hope you all have a great Christmas and an amazing New Year!
All the best, and I’ll see you all in 2014!
